Haven Homes of Detroit is here to help

Survivors face real barriers when they leave trafficking. Many step into freedom without housing, income, or a support system, making healing incredibly difficult. Without stability, survivors remain vulnerable to homelessness, substance use, and further exploitation.

Haven Homes of Detroit creates the safety, stability, and community that make long-term healing possible.

Real Stories. Measurable Impact.

At Haven Homes of Detroit, every number represents a name, a story, and a journey of healing. Since welcoming our first residents in June 2023, we’ve been honored to stand alongside survivors of human trafficking as they work toward stability, growth, and independence.

A Graduate's Reflections

I will be forever grateful for Haven Homes of Detroit, and they will always be a pillar of my support system. Today (since graduating from HHD), I'm more than 2 years clean, attending college, have custody of my kids, and am working with the Survivor Council speaking on digital harm and online safety. My days at HHD weren't always easy, however, staff taught me valuable tools that are essential and have become a part of my foundation today. I am a Sister For Life!

Highlights from HHD

HHD House #2 is open

Feb 27, 2025

Today was an amazing day celebrating the opening of House #2 with so many different HHD supporters. As Aaron said, Haven Homes of Detroit is a sanctuary for healing, hope, growth, and transformation. With this expansion, more survivors will have a safe place to heal, and more families will find hope. We can't wait to see more women supported at HHD as we expand our capacity.
