What started as a dream that turned into a possibility is now a reality. Haven Homes of Detroit officially closed on our second home yesterday. Every week we continue to get calls from women and agencies asking if we have room for women looking for Survivor-informed, safe housing, and this house will allow us to offer a home to at least 3 more women as well as expand our community meeting space. Adding a new property so soon most definitely not in our original plan, but we have had our eyes on this house and are so excited for all the possibilities it holds for the women who will be able to move in this next year.
