
Lori Gatmaitan
Lori Gatmaitan is a Senior Consultant and Nonprofit Technology Lead at Benefactor Group, where she partners with mission-driven organizations to use strategy, data, and technology in ways that are human-centered and grounded in real-world needs. Before joining Benefactor Group, Lori spent years in senior leadership roles across the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, leading technology adoption, donor engagement, and organizational development efforts. Her career path, from engineering to fundraising to executive leadership, shapes a practical, systems-minded approach focused on helping organizations bring people, purpose, and tools together effectively.
Lori holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Robert Morris University. She is a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional and was recognized by Crain's Detroit Business as a Notable Woman in Nonprofits. Lori was drawn to Haven Homes of Detroit's mission of empowering women to heal from the trauma of trafficking and exploitation through safe housing, supportive community, and the resources they need to reclaim their lives, and she's excited to bring her strategic and technology expertise to the board as HHD continues to grow its impact.
