We had the very best Volunteer Day yesterday with almost 35 people showing up to help us pull nails and clean up the inside!! All of us at Haven Homes Detroit are so grateful for the almost 100 hours of time everybody gave to help us get ready for HVAC, windows, and electric coming up in the next couple of weeks. We know this house doesn't look like too much yet, but we know all the work we got done is getting us that much closer to creating another safe haven for healing, and we are counting the days until women can move in!
