As we continue to work on putting our housing programming together, we find ourselves talking more and more about what human trafficking is and what it is not with people who are supporting HHD. Human trafficking is a very complex topic that requires care and sensitivity in learning and talking about it. There are so many myths floating around that actually do more harm to survivors and perpetuate some of the more harmful stereotypes that make it difficult to actually create meaningful change.
